When should you add storage or connections?

If source code, dependency caches, simulator data, and build artifacts will accumulate, estimate peak usage over a full term before choosing +1TB SSD or +2TB SSD. Thunderbolt 5 connections are priced per machine, so add them only when a defined multi-machine link is needed.

Graphical desktops are more sensitive to sustained latency and jitter, so test from the network used by the primary operator. For command-line and automation tasks, focus on the code source, artifact upload destination, and team locations. For distributed teams, start with the endpoint used most frequently.

Testing methodology

The figures show round-trip latency ranges measured during weekday working hours over standard business-network connections. They do not represent every provider, time period, or local network environment. Use the location recommendation as a reference only.

All HireVM orders are billed in USD. Pay with USDT-TRC20 or with Visa, Mastercard, or Amex processed by Stripe. Actual gateway availability is confirmed by the control panel.
